We recognise that wait time is important when choosing an assessment provider. We do our best to keep waiting times as low as possible.
All waiting times are approximate as they are impacted by the number of referrals received and the clinical resources available to us. Due to this, wait times may vary between ages.

**For referrals within West Yorkshire, please visit our ADHD Medication Service page on our website for the most up-to-date information on the referrals we are currently able to accept.
For all referrals received from outside of West Yorkshire, we will contact the Integrated Care Board (ICB)for your area. ICBs (Integrated Care Boards) are NHS organisations responsible for planning health services for their local population. We require essential information from them in order to prescribe medication and cannot progress your referral until an appropriate arrangement is in place. This process will affect waiting times and will take longer due to coordination with the relevant ICB.
You may still refer and join our waiting list; however, your referral will remain on hold until the necessary processes have been confirmed with your local ICB. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide specific timescales and cannot guarantee your referral will progress. If your local ICB does not confirm your eligibility, you will be discharged from our service.
Oakdale Centre is not able to intervene in or influence your ICB’s decision. However, you can contact your local Integrated Care Board’s Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), a confidential NHS service offering support, information, and assistance to patients, their families, and carers.**
